As the creators and organizers of the CCI **** Les Étoiles de PAU, the need to have reliable and real-time data during the course of the Cross test was quickly felt.
At this level of competition, safety is an important issue for the organizer, the public and the competitor.
Knowing the exact position of competitors in the race during the cross-country race, as well as the location of major players (zone leaders, rescue teams, etc.) is essential for the race director.
With the technological help of ATRM (endurance) and our computer skills, a solution meeting our needs is developed and tested on the CCI **** Les Etoiles de PAU, then used in production for the WEG test event in 2013 and during the "FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy".
